My first trip to the Zoo

Over 4th of July weekend I made my first trip to the zoo.  It was way too hot to stay for long but I did check out the petting zoo and a few of the animals.  Actually, I was more interested in trying to climb the fence than in petting the goats....

A fun weekend with Daddy, Mommy and MeMe

MeMe came and visited us for a week and we had such a great time.  Daddy had Friday and Monday off so Brady was really enjoying having an audience.  On Saturday we went to Buda to see Julie get married.  It was at a beautiful location outdoors and Brady loved it because he got to run around the entire time.  It didn't hurt that horses were there either....

My First Trip to the Beach

Two weeks ago, we enjoyed a long,wonderful weekend at the beach with our dear friends, James and Sarah and their adorable little one, Jeb.  It was B's first time on the beach and he really liked it all... sun, sand and surf.  Thank you Dad for providing us with a wonderful place to stay!  Thank you James, Sarah and Jeb for the fun times and the delicious fare.

On my latest trip to McAllen/South Padre Island, I got to see my adorable cousins, Cole and Peyton.  (I also got to see my cute cousins Avery and Aiden and they played with me and made me laugh a bunch but Mom didn't have her camera to capture it...bummer!)

My first dentist appointment

On Tuesday afternoon, Mom took me to the dentist for the first time.  I did great!  The ladies up front told me that kids my age usually cry during the exam...but not me... although I was kinda weirded out by the strange man poking around in my mouth.  The ladies let me pick a toy and sticker when I finished and I also got to play with a train set while I was there...it was a fun day in my book.

Good Luck Charm

On Sunday, we took Brady to his first college baseball game and watched TCU beat UT for a spot in the World Series tournament for the first time ever.  He didn't care to sit still for long so we did lots of walking around and checking things out in the shade...which turned out for the best because it was H-O-T and the sun was blaring.  B was slathered in sunscreen but he turns beet red when he is hot and his little cheeks were flushed within 2 minutes.  He did get to snack on a lemon ice and got a few bites of ice cream.  He was such a good boy and made lots of friends.  He crashed in the car on the way home.
