A day at the park.

Yesterday we decided to surprise Daddy with lunch at the park.  It is only a couple of blocks from our house so B and I packed up our lunch and strolled on down there.  We left Daddy a note on the door to meet us there.  It was a fun little outing and Brady just ADORES being outside.  Here are some pics from our lunch date:

My first word.

So we always joked about what we thought Brady's first word would be.... and it seems that what we meant in jest has come to fruition. Are you ready??? The bug's first word is..... Ollie. Yep that's right... Ollie.. or more accurately AW-YEE. Guess we know who the top dog is around here!

The boys busy checking stuff out

Today I decided to....

start walking! After a couple of months of teasing his mommy and daddy, Brady decided today that he would go ahead and start walking. Before today he would take a couple of steps very cautiously or he would walk around holding our hand, a table, chair etc. Today we were in the play room and he just pulled himself up and started walking. He spent the rest of the day trying it out!

Afternoon Snack

Couple of weeks ago I had the refrigerator open and Brady spotted a plum.  He grabbed it, had a seat, and ate his snack right there in front of the fridge with the door wide open and Ollie watching.  It was the cutest thing, although not too energy efficient.
